Our Food and Pet Sensitivity test is an extremely accurate test that will help you to discover your food and pet sensitivities. All of our tests meet international testing standards and guarantee maximum accuracy.
Our DNA testing kit will contain all you require to perform the test. We will send you oral swabs to rub on the inside of your mouth in order to collect cheek cells; hence, you will not need to go through painful blood sampling. Results will be issued within 6 weeks from receipt of your samples at the laboratory. These are sent to you by email unless otherwise requested (additional charges may apply).

Which allergens will be tested for sensitivity? How many genetic markers are tested?
The Food Sensitivity analysis will inform if you have any sensitivity to the most common food items such as gluten, lactose, cow milk, egg, peanuts, yeast, fish, soy corn, and shellfish amongst other foods.
The Pet Dander test will also look for genetic markers that makes a person more sensitive to pet dander, which consists of tiny particles shed from animals that have fur, hair, or feathers.
The test for Histamine will look at genetic markers that confirm if a person has the ability to break down excess histamine which is a natural compound found in food which is aged and fermented.
The analysis involves 30 genetic markers (SNPs) and every food items will be categorized in 8 types:

How is the sample collection process?
Upon placing your order we will ship your DNA testing kit to the address provided. A simple collection of your saliva using our oral swabs is all we need to carry out DNA analysis in the laboratory.
The sample collection is simple and straightforward.

Results
Results will be sent by email 6 weeks after receipt of samples at the laboratory.
The comprehensive report will show which allergens you are more sensitive to and will include a guide with dietary suggestions, food substitutions and recommended supplements.
The Food & Pet Sensitivity focuses will exclusively analyze the genes related to the body’s sensitivity to specific allergens. It will not analyse any other information such as diseases or medical conditions.

This is nothing wrong, it simply means that when analysing your sample the results were outside what the software expects, therefore the laboratory cannot say or not if there is a sensitivity.
No, you don’t need to take the Food & Pet Intolerance Test each year. The test analyses your sensitivity of your DNA. Your DNA does not alter through years; therefore you won’t need to take this test again.
